GUAM HAS ONE CAR PER PERSON

The number of cars, trucks, and buses worldwide grew 3.5 percent in 1990 to 557.8 million. According to the 61st annual edition of the World Automotive Market, vehicle ownership continues to grow faster overseas than in the United States.After the US with 188.7 million, Japan has the most vehicles on the road: 55.1 million. These are followed by Germany (35.8 million), France (27.8 million), and Italy (26.3 million). On a per capita basis, Guam has the most vehicles: one for each inhabitant.
