The Butterball Turkey Talk-Line is a toll-free hotline available to callers nationwide who have questions about any and all turkey preparations - from how to buy the bird to how to fix leftovers. Forty-four home economists and nutritionists are available to answer questions. This is the hotline's ninth year; last year staffers answered questions from 127,000 callers. Dates and hours for the hotline: Now through Nov. 22, Mon. through Fri., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (CST). Nov. 18 and 19, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CST). Thanksgiving Day, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CST). Nov. 24-Dec. 22, Mon. through Fri., 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (CST).
