When I was a young sprite growin' up in the Oklahoma backwoods a neighbor kid my age went out West in a soot-black '35 4-door V-8 Ford with his parents 'n older sister and baby brother to harvest the fruits of some other Okies' labors; when he got back he told how drivin' across the desert you'd be goin' uphill just when you thought it was down.
