JAPAN WILLING TO HELP REBUILD CAMBODIA

Japan says it is willing to throw its economic might into rebuilding Cambodia if a 19-nation peace conference finds a comprehensive solution to the 10-year-old civil war which has shattered the Indochinese nation. The conference assembles leaders of the four warring Cambodian factions - the Vietnamese-backed Cambodian government and three resistance groups - together with foreign ministers representing major powers.
