Nicaragua complains again over a US plane on MIG hunt

Nicaraguan officials charged that a US spy plane flew over the port of Corinto Thursday, apparently examining a Soviet freighter believed to be carrying MIG-21 jets, and created a sonic boom that panicked residents. On Wednesday, they said, soldiers had fired antiaircraft weapons when they believed another US plane flew over the port. The Pentagon denied US aircraft had been shot at by Nicaraguans and said none had been in Nicaraquan territory.
