Reagan handed in his ballot as party prepared to celebrate

With aides and most public polls forecasting a reelection landslide, a smiling President Reagan handed in his absentee ballot Tuesday amid preparations for a Republican victory celebration.

Meanwhile in Houston, Vice-President George Bush cast his ballot yesterday after waiting in line for several minutes with other voters. Asked how he voted, he told reporters, ''I did the right thing.'' As to whether he will be a candidate for president four years from now, he replied, ''Too early to even consider it.''
