Ferraro raps Republicans for ads on women's issues
Geraldine Ferraro told a group of nurses Wednesday she is ''personally offended'' by Republican ads portraying concern for women's issues. Only at election time, she said, do ''they pretend to be concerned about us.'' Ms. Ferraro got up early to shake hands at a North Philadelphia subway stop to kick off a long day of campaigning across Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Ohio.
