Poles angered over killing form a rights-watch group

Outraged by the killing of a pro-Solidarity priest, leading intellectuals, educators, and workers in this southwestern city have announced the start of a group to monitor human rights in Poland.

The organizers said activists in Warsaw planned to announce soon the creation of a similar watchdog group. (See related story on Page 1.)
