Pacific Northwest hit by power outage
A ''major disturbance'' in electrical transmission lines caused a power outage Tuesday that affected all of Idaho and parts of Oregon, Washington, and California, a spokesman for the Bonneville Power Administration said. The cause at this writing was not known.
