Omega 7 chief convicted of murders, bombings

Cuban exile Eduardo Arocena was found guilty Saturday in the attempted slaying of the Cuban ambassador to the United Nations, the machine-gun murder of a Cuban diplomatic attache, and 20 bombings he ordered as leader of the Omega 7 anti-Castro terrorist group.

Sentencing is set for Oct. 26.
