Gromyko and Wu have talks on Sino-Soviet relations

Foreign Ministers Andrei Gromyko of the Soviet Union and Wu Xueqian of China on Saturday ended two days of talks described as a step toward ''mutual understanding'' between their countries. It was Gromyko's first visit with a Chinese foreign minister since 1959. He left the meeting smiling, but there were no reports from either side on how the conference had gone or what had been discussed.
