Prototype of new US bomber crashes in California desert
A prototype of a B-1A bomber crashed in the desert Wednesday and burned, sparking small brush fires, authorities said. The condition of the crew was not known at this writing. The aircraft was one of four early-model B-1A prototypes being tested.
