Leaders in Georgia town look to problems behind violence

Community leaders said they would ask residents of this east Georgia city last night to discuss problems that may have contributed to an outbreak of violence after a black man died in police custody.

Authorities lifted a dusk-to-dawn curfew Monday that had been imposed after violence broke out early Saturday following the death Friday of Larry Gardner, who had been arrested on outstanding warrants for shoplifting and sale of marijuana.
