Spanish King and Queen plan state visit to USSR
King Juan Carlos of Spain and his wife, Queen Sofia, will pay a state visit to the Soviet Union next month,the Foreign Ministry announced here Monday. It will be the first official visit ever to the Soviet Union by a Spanish head of state.
The statement said the King and Queen would visit May 10-16 as guests of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet.
