Ruling by Supreme Court aids urban-renewal plans

In the first decision of the new term, the Supreme Court gave a major boost to urban renewal projects nationwide Tuesday, ruling unanimously that cities need not reimburse public utilities for the cost of relocating equipment in redevelopment areas.
