Central Bank head freed in Argentina

Argentina's Central Bank president was freed Wednesday without charges after being detained in connection with alleged irregularities in a foreign debt rescheduling agreement, Economy Ministry sources said. Julio Gonzalez del Solar was arrested Monday on the orders of federal Judge Federico Pinto Kramer, who was investigating charges that Argentina's $39 billion foreign debt had been mishandled. That judge is reportedly no longer handilng the case.
