National Public Radio may be down, but it's not out. The auditors' report released Wednesday showed NPR to be debt-ridden and financially mismanaged. It showed a net loss of $4.5 million for the seven months ended April 30 and a working-capital deficit of $6.5 million. But NPR officials said they believe the organization will pull through.
