Let us have peace, now, and a quiet love grown from the friendship that shall not stop growing; let it stand braced in trust, and spoken of sufficiently to keep its embers glowing. But let its doubts and fevers fall to rest, and urgency be soothed as hungry need is met in birds and animals. Request, receive response. Response, be kind in deed. Let understanding be perpetual between us, and considerations live foremost within us, based on love and all the long companionship that peace can give.
