Toto musical group wins seven Grammy awards

Toto, a group of studio musicians who often back top recording artists, made it big on their own by winning seven Grammys. Their record ''Rosanna,'' won as record of the year; their ''Toto IV'' was voted album of the year. Among other awards, the group was also declared nonclassical-record producers of the year. One Grammy, for best rhythm-and-blues song, went to group member Steve Lukather, who was one of the composers of ''Turn Your Love Around.''

Men At Work members were voted best new artists of the year. Country singer Willie Nelson collected three Grammys for ''Always on My Mind.''
