Landmark hotel hit by fire in Gettysburg

A fire in the landmark Gettysburg Hotel roared out of control for 31/2 hours before firefighters brought it under control. No casualties were reported, and 40 to 50 people were evacuated safely. The roof of the three-story building built in 1800 collapsed.
