Federal judge acquitted in landmark bribery case

A jury acquitted the first sitting federal judge ever to face trial for crimes allegedly committed while on the bench. US District Court Judge Alcee Hastings was charged with conspiring to solicit and receive a bribe and obstructing justice. He said he will be a better judge because he survived ''one of America's most unfair trials.''
