Wholesale prices up slightly in November

Wholesale price inflation accelerated slightly in November, mainly because of higher prices for natural gas and home heating oil, the Labor Department said.

The cost of goods sold at wholesale climbed at a compound annual rate of 7.9 percent last month, the fastest rate of advance since June.
