The voice of the turtle is heard on the atoll

The Seychelles government is shelling out a lot of land . . . for the world's greatest concentration of sea turtles and giant land tortoises. Nearly half its total land area will be given over to the preserve today (Nov. 19). The Aldabra Atoll will be listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site.
