Iranian Air Force ready to retaliate against Iraq

The commander of the Iranian Air Force says his jet fighters are ready to hit military and economic targets deep inside Iraq in retaliation for recent Iraqi air raids on Iran's main oil terminal.

The report came from the national news agency IRNA quoting Col. Hassan Moinpur.

In a separate development, Teheran newspapers reported three people have been executed in Teheran for their part in a bombing attack there. They gave no details about the bomb, but the executions appeared to have no link with the explosion two days ago in Iran's capital in which 20 died and 100 were injured.
