Thatcher hints of need for British-Argentine tie

British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher Wednesday reemphasized her determination not to grant Argentina sovereignty over the Falkland Islands, but said Britain would in the long run need Argentine cooperation in the Falklands.

Speaking in a televised interview with NBC, Mrs. Thatcher said Britain and Argentina might cooperate through commercial links.
