Iranian-Iraqi sympathies set off clash in Beirut

Away from the main battle, Beirut, too, has a pocket of Iraqi-Iranian conflict. Six people were killed and more than 30 wounded Tuesday in artillery, rocket, and machine-gun exchanges between pro-Iranian and pro-Iraqi groups in predominantly Muslim west Beirut, security and party sources said.
