Some Iranian oil making its way to US users again

TThe United States bought Iranian oil for the first time since the hostage crisis, but the purchase should not be interpreted as ''a signal of any kind'' to Iran, US officials said. The Iranian light crude oil was purchased because of the good price, about $52 million for 1.8 million barrels, according to the Energy Department and the Defense Fuel Supply Center.
