Race riots break out once more in England

Violent clashes broke out between police and young blacks this weekend in a Bristol suburb which was the scene of serious riots two years ago.

A police spokesman said youths threw gasoline bombs at police in St. Paul's. He said one policeman was injured, and six people were arrested.

Police said the trouble began Friday night when two groups - one black, the other white - clashed. Violence flared again Saturday night when about 100 police intervened to try to prevent further trouble.

Police reported Bristol was quiet Sunday morning.
