$5.6 billion IMF loan going to India, with extra leeway

India is in line to receive an innovative $5.68 billion loan from the International Monetary Fund, the largest in the fund's history, the New York Times reported. The gives India the freedom to invest in oil production and other industries, something that has not previously been granted under such loans.
