Reagan welcomes Mrs. O'Connor

Arizona Judge Sandra D. O'Connor, her confirmation as the first woman Supreme Court justice considered almost certain, was welcomed to the White House Wednesday by President Reagan. After her meeting with the President, Mrs. O'Connor returned to Capitol Hill to talk with Senate Judiciary Committee members.

An FBI spokesman said the bureau has completed its background investigation of Mrs. O'Connor and would be s ent to the White House.
