From My Journal

About two years ago I started my hobby of building forts on my brother's bunk bed. I'd take some old sheets and blankets and clip them up with clothespins. Those would be my walls. Then I clipped one up for a door. I pretended the top of the bottom bunk was the ceiling. The top bunk became my lookout tower. My brother and I would make believe we were on a ship, or on top of the house. And sometimes, when I wanted to be alone or when I was angry I used to take a book in and read and it would quiet me down a lot. I still do it when I'm angry, and it really helps me! It gives me time to think things out, and when I come out I'm usually much more cheerful!
