when it looked like the sun was going to be bottled up in clouds for days precipitations of warming light leak unguessed palpitations leap in face and fingers as if smidgeons of water drops from hot springs splatters up the downslope of sun dust motes in swirls rise to shine indecisive about direction erections of columnar light downgrade (in the daytime) to bore into the sea like beams of flashlights looking for lost souls souls fish swim through and around these moonbeams mirroring dust particles which ricochet silvery refractions of light hog-tied by nature's rope of light a king of layin g down about the whole thing if you ask me
