Uganda extended its first parliamentary elections in 18 years for another day after the late arrival of voting materials caused long lines and ugly scenes at some polling stations. The Uganda People's Congress, led by former President Milton Obote, is most likely to win. It already had 17 seats for which its candidates were returned unopposed. there will be 126 elected seats in the new Parliament.
