Indonesia to start an A-plant next year

Indonesian President Suharto said his country would start building its first nuclear power plant next year. During a visit to a nuclear power plant here, he said Indonesia would rely on cooperation between Pakistani and Indonesian technologists to complete the 30-megawatt plant. He said Indonesia had abundant natural resources but would need nuclear energy for its long-term economic development.
