Iran sending a demand for US clarification

Algerian diplomats are returning to Algeria with Iran's demand for a more explicit response from the United States to the terms Tehran has set for the release of the 52 American hostages. A Tehran Radio report quoted a "responsible source" in the office of Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Rajai as saying that "as far as Iran is concerned, the US reply is not clear on the various clauses approved by the Islamic consultative assembly." The Tehran report said that Iran's message seeking clarification from Washington does not contain any positive or negative response to the US reply.
