Start saving for bigger gasoline tabs: $1.50 per gallon and higher late next year. Gasoline prices have held even -- or in some cases fallen -- in recent months. But analysts see that ending. They predict a 7-cent-a-gallon jump to $ 1.34 a gallon for regular gas during the current quarter.

Further, motorists appear to be adjusting to higher prices. So driving could soon increase again. Higher demand should send prices up sharply by the end of next summer.m
