Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

A story from the United Nations in the Monitor's Oct. 22 issue stated that a resolution about "peace in Cambodia" proposed by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations had been adopted Oct. 21 by an overwhelming majority. In fact, the vote was delayed. At time of writing, it was expected to take place Oct. 22 . The Monitor regrets the error.
