Print workers at the Observer, Britain's oldest Sunday newspaper, have agreed to a new pay deal which should guarantee its future. The Observer's owners issued dismissal notices to more than 1,000 employees last month. The final issue of the paper, founded in 1791 during the reign of George III, had been due to appear on Oct. 19.
