Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

About 350 Haitian refugees, rescued from leaky boats, arrived in Miami Wednesday aboard the cutter Durable and were turned over to immigration authorities. Two other boats, carrying 94 Cuban refugees, were reported en route to Key West.
