20 executed in Iran on narcotics charges

Twenty people found guilty of drug trafficking were executed by a firing squad Wednesday, Tehran Radio said. The executions were ordered by Iran's new antinarcotics chief, Ayatollah Sadegh Khalkali, who sentenced hundreds to death as a chief Islamic revolutionary court judge.
