Sadat moves to tighten control over reforms

President Sadat abolished the prime minister's post Tuesday to tighten his control over a reform program to cope with Egypt's economic problems. Officials said the new government would be about a third smaller than Prime Minister Mustafa Khalil's 31-man Cabinet, which resigned Monday. Mr. Sadat will officially launch the new government today (May 14).
