Another opinion poll has confirmed that Pierre Trudeau's Liberal Party is the early favorite to win next month's Canadian general election. Prime Minister Joe Clark's Progressive Conservatives were trailing the Liberals by 21 percentage points, according to a Gallup poll taken in the first week of January.
